A Welsh hotel says it is desperate to open when the firebreak ends in November - but warned continuing travel restrictions would prevent that happening.
The Quay Hotel and Spa in Deganwy closed in October as Conwy's local lockdown came in.
A travel ban that stopped people entering or leaving the county saw its strong October bookings wiped out.
Their ambition is to reopen on November 9 when the Welsh Government's firebreak ends.
But this will prove "difficult" if travel rules remain in place after that date.
Director Tony Troy said: "We hope to be able to open on November 9, that is what we want to do.
"We have invested in the hotel since buying it six years ago and the hotel has been successful.
"We closed in March in line with the lockdown restrictions.
"Since reopening we have traded very well and October was looking like another strong month."
Local lockdowns for Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham, were then announced at the end of September.
Mr Troy said: "Local lockdown came as a surprise to us. We were unable to have anyone stay from outside of the county, which for a hotel takes away nearly all of your customers.

"This forced us to close and by the end of the 'circuit break' we will have been closed for nearly six weeks.
"What we do not know is what the restrictions will be after the 'circuit break'.
"If travel restrictions remain in place it will be very difficult.
"We are not trying to dictate to the Welsh Government what they should do, it is their prerogative but we are explaining the position we are in.
"As we don't know what the restrictions will be, we have had to have honest conversations with our colleagues, but no decision has been made about what will happen after November 9.
"We cannot make that decision until we know what the restrictions will be. A lot of other people in the sector will be in exactly the same situation."
