A new brewery in Poole has lodged a premises licence application, outlining its plans for music and alcohol sales.
Earlier this year, Barking Cat Ale House secured a lease in Arthur Bray's Yard to open its first brewery, which will also feature a taproom for patrons to savour their beers.
The application reveals that the firm intends to permit both on-site and off-site alcohol sales at the location, with non-standard hours for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve between 11am and 1am.
On-site alcohol sales will be available from Monday to Thursday between 11am and midnight, Friday between 11am and 1am, Saturday between 10am and 1am, and Sunday between 11am and midnight.
Off-site alcohol sales will be accessible from Monday to Thursday between 9am and midnight, Friday and Saturday from 9am to 1am, and Sunday from 11am to midnight.
The application also indicates that live music, both indoors and outdoors, will be permitted from 2pm to midnight from Monday to Thursday, noon to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and from 2pm to 11pm on Sundays.
Recorded music will also be played at the venue, both indoors and outdoors, from 7am to 1am from Monday to Saturday, and from 11am to 11pm on Sundays. Non-standard hours for both live and recorded music are planned for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, from noon to 1am.
Barking Cat Brewing Company Limited lodged the application for the premises on 10 October. The application is presently under public consultation, which will conclude on 7 November.
