Marks and Spencer has announced the eagerly awaited opening date for its expansive new store in Cabot Circus in Bristol.
The flagship outlet will occupy the space left vacant by House of Fraser, which closed its doors in August 2024.
For several months, billboards heralding the arrival of M&S have teased an "autumn 2025" launch, and now the retailer has finally disclosed the precise date.

The grand opening is set for Thursday, November 13.
The 80,000 sq ft full-line store will sell food, fashion, homewares and beauty across three floors.
There will 17,000 sq ft fresh market-style foodhall, with an in-store bakery, fresh market specials from M&S Select Farms (over 1,200 are based in the South West) and a wide range of M&S sandwiches, salads and wraps.
There will also be a 200-seater M&S Coffee Shop, which will sell a range of freshly cooked breakfast rolls, toasties, wraps and sandwiches, alongside barista-made coffee reports .
The store promises "one of M&S' largest beauty sections across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ", the latest autumn/winter Autograph collections in the fashion department, and a chic kidswear collection.

M&S's Bristol Cabot Circus is one of sixteen M&S outlets launching across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ this financial year, including nearby Bath Southgate, as part of a £300m investment programme.
The Bristol launch is expected to generate over 100 new jobs, with recruitment starting last month and opportunities still available in the coffee shop, visual merchandising, customer service and warehouse operations.
The opening will signal the retailer's comeback to Bristol city centre following the closure of its Broadmead department store in January 2022.

M&S launched its inaugural stall in Bristol in 1900 before relocating to various sites throughout the city, including Castle Street and East Street.
