The acquisition of baked potato restaurant chain Spudulike by Albert Bartlett has seen more than 75 former staff re-employed, the potato giant has said.

Albert Bartlett revived the chain after it closed all its 37 branches in August after collapsing into administration, which resulted in loss of about 300 jobs.

Spudulike鈥檚 former operations director Jonathan Hoodless is among employees re-joining Spudulike after they were made redundant by the previous owners.

Albert Bartlett also said it is planning to create up to eight new jobs in areas such as customer service and administration.

The company confirmed it purchased the Spudulike brand for 鈥渟elected top-performing鈥 sites across the 海角视频 for an undisclosed sum.

Sites have reopened in eight shopping centre locations in Manchester, Leeds, York, Livingstone, Kent, Norwich, Glasgow and Bridgend.

Albert Bartlett said it is planning a 鈥渇ull relaunch鈥 in 2020.

Albert Bartlett said, under its ownership, price reductions have been introduced on key products, with filled baked potatoes starting at 拢4.49.
