º£½ÇÊÓƵ clothing and lifestyle brand Hurlingham Polo opens flagship store on Manchester's King Street

Deal with DTZ Investors achieved despite 'turbulent time' for retail

Hurlingham Polo is to open its flagship retail store on King Street in Manchester

A luxury clothing and lifestyle brand is to open its flagship retail store on Manchester's King Street.

Hurlingham Polo has signed a deal with DTZ Investors that will see it take the 4,146sq ft space at 48 King Street - its first and only º£½ÇÊÓƵ store.

The opening of the store falls in line with its debut autumn and winter fashion collection for 2020 by designer Bardhyl Latifi, who has previously designed collections for Burberry and Henri Lloyd.

Simon Hawkins, CEO of the firm, said: “King Street is one of Manchester’s most iconic shopping districts, and so we’re very excited to be making a new home for the brand there.

"It’s great to have the platform to connect with a larger audience as we gear up to launch our new creative direction with our A/W20 clothing collection.

“We are bringing something unique and authentic to the high street – a lifestyle brand with integrity at its heart that is stylish and modern, yet still has British heritage at its core.

"Manchester is the next step for us in the continued expansion of our portfolio, so it is an important move for us. We’re confident we’ve made the right choice.”

The brand comes from the prestigious Hurlingham Polo Association, the sport’s oldest international governing body.
