Lockdown gave a couple the time and inspiration to start up their own clothing business.
Siwan Owens and fiancé Owen Sutton, who live in Caergeiliog on Anglesey, had previously had the idea for a Welsh slogan T-shirt company but between work, moving house, and wedding planning they hadn’t pursued it.
This was until the coronavirus pandemic forced Wales into lockdown.
Siwan said: “It was forgotten about - until the end of April that was.
"Whilst clapping for key workers on a Thursday night I turned to Owen and said we’re missing a trick at the moment and that we should give our idea a go of creating Welsh T-shirts.
"It was now or never.
“I honestly with hand on heart don’t think this would of ever have been done if we weren’t in lockdown as our lives are so busy.
“But given the time we’ve had on our hands in the evenings when we couldn’t go anywhere we thought let’s have a go at it and see what interest we’d get.”

Siwan added: “Thinking we’d sell to family and friends and nothing more, little did we know that people would take an interest and it would take off worldwide, with our tops having gone to Australia, Canada and Sweden, just to name some of the places.
“A week after the launch it was very important to me as I work as a Public Health practitioner here in North Wales that we gave back as soon as we can.
“So we launched our ‘Diolch’ range and all the money that we received from the sales of the ‘Diolch’ products would be donated to NHS Charities here in Wales. We managed to raise £336.97 from the sale of our ‘Diolch’ range.
