A Liverpool chain of hotels has opened its first ever restaurant serving dishes from sharing platters to stone-baked pizzas.

Mason's Kitchen and Bar has opened on Seel Street in Ropewalks, aiming to offer "relaxed all-day dining in contemporary surroundings".

It's the latest venture and first dedicated restaurant operation by hotel chain EPIC, and the 120-cover restaurant will open every day from 7am until late - serving a varied menu from breakfast to after-dinner cocktails.

Simon Beer, managing director of EPIC group, told Business Live: “The variety of operations in this part of the city is unquestionable.

"We wanted to create a place where everyone feels welcome, from families with young children and groups of friends, to those visiting Liverpool for a weekend wanting a slice of its vibrant culture accompanied by our warm hospitality.

“With a personable, refreshing atmosphere, our menu is a relaxed mix of dishes – much like you would find around the table at home. We are very much looking forward to welcoming guests and hope our offering will deliver something special for the city.”

Established in 2012 by Simon and Fiona Beer, EPIC claims to be the region's fastest-growing independent hospitality group with a portfolio of properties offering apartments, aparthotels and hotels.

The concept is inspired by Simon and Fiona’s own family – who wanted to create a warm environment encouraging people to "celebrate every occasion".
