A kitchen retailer in Bristol is defying the high street downturn after reporting a 48 per cent growth in year-on-year revenue.

Kutchenhaus, at Clifton Down Shopping Centre, is managed by franchisee owner Rob Cash, who has operated the business since February 2017.

The growth, says Rob, is primarily down to the quality of the in-store customer experience and the affordability of the kitchens.

He also said the company has spent time investing in the skills of its staff.

The business is now forecasting a 12-month revenue growth target of 20 per cent as it looks to build on its success.

Rob is also planning to open a second store and double his headcount.

He said: “The past 12 months have been the best trading period since we opened. We have done a lot of work to make sure the Bristol store is set up correctly.”

The Kutchenhaus store in Bristol employs four staff and covers 1,100 square foot of retail space.
