Hotter Shoes steps back into the black as sales pass £50m

The brand has also signed a new partnership with M&S

Hotter Shoes is headquartered in Lancashire

Hotter Shoes has stepped back into the black as its sales passed the £50m mark during its latest financial year.

The Lancashire-headquartered company's parent, Unbound Group, confirmed the brand's revenue totalled £51.9m for the 12 months to January 30, 2022, up from £44.5m.

In a statement issued to the London Stock Exchange, the group said the "performance reflects the strength of Hotter's products and multi-channel offering, with double digit percentage revenue growth being achieved in both the digital and traditional retail channels".

It added that the result was achieved "despite the significant challenges impacting the sector, particularly during the second half of the financial year".

Pre-tax profits at Hotter Shoes are also not anticipated to be below £200,000, compare to a loss of £6.6m during the prior financial year.

The statement added: "Looking ahead, management is confident in achieving the medium-term growth targets for both Hotter and Unbound as outlined on the capital markets day in September 2021.

"Specifically for Hotter, though supply chain disruption has been a challenge during H2 FY22, the º£½ÇÊÓƵ manufacturing facility provided a level of resilience and availability improved during the final quarter of FY22.
