Leicester鈥檚 newest hotel opens its doors to the paying public today 鈥 Monday, July 4.
The 191-room Hotel Brooklyn has been built on the city鈥檚 former Granby Halls site, in the shadow of the Tiger鈥檚 rugby club鈥檚 Welford Road stadium. Construction started in March 2020, with original planning beginning back in 2017.
It is the second in the Brooklyn chain, which launched in Manchester three years ago, inspired by the New York borough, with an 鈥渋ndustrial aesthetic, impressive atrium, and exposed brickwork鈥.
Nightly rates will start from around 拢72 and guests can upgrade to its 'skyline suites' 鈥 which come with hot-tub terraces 鈥 or its executive suites with free-standing baths.
There are also 10 fully-accessible and six 鈥渁mbulant-accessible鈥 bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms, with matt black brassware, grab rails and shower seats.
The main hub of the hotel is called The Lair, with an open plan bar, restaurant and a flexible, social space.
The Brooklyn has a bridge linking it to the Tigers stadium for the convenience of guests and plans to use the shared space on the plaza widely for matchday visitors.
It is operated by Bespoke Hotels which recently became official hotel partner to Leicester Tigers.
Founded in 2000, Bespoke is the now 海角视频's biggest independent hotel group with more than 90 properties in the 海角视频. It manages 5,000 hotel rooms for leisure and business guests, and has more than 6,000 employees.

The new hotel, alongside the recently opened Gresham aparthotel in Leicester鈥檚 old Fenwick store, is also being promoted by Meet Leicester, the official conference bureau for Leicester and Leicestershire, to show the growing appeal of the city to conference and event organisers.
They are the latest addition to 60 venues in the city and county being promoted to the 海角视频 events sector.
The Brooklyn has a new event room 鈥渃oncept鈥 offering a versatile space that can be divided into three multi-functional rooms (Guys, Dolls and Curveballs), capable of accommodating various events from meetings, celebrations, weddings and even screenings, with its state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and lighting.
