A Gwynedd distillery is celebrating after doubling its product listings in Tesco stores across Wales.

Aber Falls’ Rhubarb and Ginger Gin and Salted Toffee Liqueur will now sit alongside its Welsh Dry Gin and Orange Marmalade Gin, which have established themselves as firm favourites with Tesco customers since first being stocked by the supermarket in May last year.

The Rhubarb and Ginger Gin will be stocked in 65 Tesco stores across the country.

Aber Falls’ Salted Toffee Liqueur is a collaboration with Halen Mon, the producer of Anglesey Sea Salt and will be stocked in 45 Tesco stores.

Meanwhile the distillery’s Marmalade Gin is also going to be stocked even more widely - taking the total number of Tesco stores stockingthe gin from 50 to 142.

The Aber Falls distillery is based in Abergwyngregyn and will launch its first whisky next year. Its first gin was released in 2017.

Tesco’s relationship manager for Local Sourcing Enfys Fox said: “We are delighted to be bringing more of the Aber Falls range to our customers across Wales – and are doubly delighted to be taking their Orange Marmalade Gin into all our Tesco Express stores in Wales.

“Shelf space in our Express stores is limited, so the fact that the Marmalade Gin is now being sold in so many local stores across Wales underlines how popular the product has been with our Welsh customers.”
