North East bakery giant Greggs is keen to collaborate further with Primark and open more cafes in its network of 海角视频 stores, the firm鈥檚 CEO says.
The two high street favourites last month joined forces to launch a limited edition clothing range in selected Primark stores, as well as open the world鈥檚 biggest Greggs cafe in its Birmingham shop.
The collaboration has proved to be a huge success, with all 60 stores selling out of the 11-piece collection of clothes 鈥 some of which later appeared on eBay at vastly inflated prices.

Now Roger Whiteside, CEO of the Newcastle based company, says he would welcome the chance to open more Greggs cafes in more of Primark鈥檚 180-plus 海角视频 stores, as the company is keen to place the brand and its produce wherever it is busy.
He admitted he never thought he鈥檇 ever see Greggs branding emblazoned on hats, sweatshirts, joggers and socks, on sale on the high street.
Mr Whiteside said: 鈥淚 can鈥檛 say I ever wrote it down as a strategic priority! At the end of the day, what鈥檚 exciting for us is that we know that if you put Greggs in convenient places, which includes inside other shops, like Primark, that we can be successful. That鈥檚 why we鈥檝e done that.
鈥淧rimark wanted to try a clothing range branded Greggs - we don鈥檛 know anything about clothing, but they felt that would sell so wanted to try a small collection, which we were happy to do. It鈥檚 not in our plan to sell clothing - we鈥檒l see if Primark wants to keep going with the Greggs element in the clothing range.
鈥淲e鈥檙e on the lookout continuously for putting Greggs shops wherever there are lots of people away from home, so we鈥檙e opening up in supermarkets, and Primark, and we鈥檒l open up anywhere else that鈥檚 busy enough.
鈥淚t鈥檚 got off to a great start. We hope that in the months ahead as both of us look to evaluate how it鈥檚 done that it becomes something that might mean Primark let us open up in a few more.
鈥淚 hope to open in more Primarks, just so much as I hope to open in more Tescos and Asdas, and anywhere else that鈥檚 busy that needs food-on-the-go.鈥
As well as targeting high street shops, Greggs is also looking further into the future and the possibility of sending sausage rolls overseas.
Mr Whiteside added: 鈥淲e鈥檝e got the opportunity to reach much further into the market because we can go multi-channel now, which was always the plan these five years we鈥檝e been on the transformation we鈥檝e been undertaking.
鈥淲e鈥檙e now going to reach into all day parts of all channels and hope to double sales for the brand. Eventually we鈥檒l begin to look internationally to see how we can take the brand abroad, so, I鈥檓 feeling very optimistic about the business.鈥
