Stoke-on-Trent has seen big-name stores including Debenhams, Go Outdoors, The Body Shop and Greggs, as well as the Arcadia Group's Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Burton and Miss Selfridge brands - abandon the city centre in the last 12 months.
Now M&S is set to follow suit after announcing that it's Hanley store will close in August - with the loss of more than 60 jobs.
