Funeral director recognised as top independent company in milestone countdown to Small Business Saturday

North Lincolnshire operator praised as 2022 becomes a double celebration after Chamber success

A northern Lincolnshire funeral director has been selected as one of the nation’s 100 most inspiring small businesses.

Jason Threadgold has parlours in Scunthorpe, Brigg and Barton, has been highlighted as Small Business Saturday 海角视频 celebrates its 10th anniversary this coming weekend.

Founded by husband and wife team Jason and Nichola Threadgold in 2014, the recognition follows it being named Small Business of the Year at the Northern Lincolnshire Business Awards in May.

Mr Threadgold said: “We feel so proud and humbled to have been chosen from so many other wonderful small businesses.”

A grassroots, not-for-profit movement, Small Business Saturday first came to the 海角视频 in 2013 has grown into an iconic campaign celebrating small business success and encouraging consumers to shop local and support businesses in their communities.

The campaign was originally founded by American Express in the US in 2010, and the brand remains the principal supporter.
