Flooring Superstore will launch in the city at Stoneferry Trade Park on Monday - the first day that non-essential retail is permitted to open.
Four new jobs are being created at the 4,535 sq ft operation, where all types of coverings from carpets to artificial grass will be sold.
Flooring Superstore regional manager, Greig Anderson, said: 鈥淭hroughout the course of 2021 we are planning to open 25 new stores, which will double our retail footprint in just 12 months.
鈥淗ull has always been on our radar as we strive to open more stores along the eastern side of the country, so we鈥檙e delighted to be finally coming to the city.
鈥淛ust a few years ago, it was the European Capital of Culture and this has had a major positive impact on the local economy, so we are now looking forward to now being able to make our contribution to this economy.鈥
Launched online in 2012, Hull launches alongside Norwich, Lincoln, Orpington and Basingstoke. It follows new year arrivals in Doncaster and Huddersfield.
The past month has also seen JTF Mega Discount Warehouses confirm it is opening on Clough Road later this year.
