Bungalows – they’re poky little houses that you move to when you retire, right?

Wrong.

In fact, about half of bungalows sold in 2013 were to people under retirement age.

These single-storey dwellings are attractive propositions – , perfect if you want to extend, and they are also good investments (after the financial crash in 2007, bungalows held their value more than two-storey homes).
