Fine four-bedroom Edgbaston home has been completely reconstructed

Hard work has certainly paid off in this handsome Edgbaston house - and there is the potential to do more, reports Alison Jones

Builders have been busy in Edgbaston, completely reconstructing this fine four-bedroom home.

Finished to a high specification, the use of natural wood warm feel.

It is approached off the prestigious Richmond Hill Road, through a set of electric gates and down a substantial block-paved driveway with parking for multiple vehicles. To the sides there are landscaped borders filled with plants.

Solid wood doors with glazed side panels open to the entrance porch with tiled flooring and storage cupboard to the side.

In the reception hall a hand-made staircase leads to galleried landing above. There is storage beneath the stairs and natural wood panelled doors to the reception rooms.

A guest cloak room has Porcelanosa tiling, a toilet and shaped basin on a vanity unit. A built-in double cupboard is suitable for hanging coats.

Double doors lead into the large sitting room to one side of the house. This has a coved ceiling, fire in a marble surround, picture window to the front and patio doors to the back.

Another set of double doors open to the dining room which has windows overlooking the garden.
