The new store will join other big name brands at Affinity Staffordshire when it opens in the spring

Fashion brand H&M is opening a brand new store inside a north Staffordshire shopping centre.

The retailer has signed up for a 7,000 sq ft unit at Affinity Staffordshire, in Talke, in what the company is describing as a "º£½ÇÊÓƵ first".

H&M says the new store - which will open in the coming weeks - is the brand's only º£½ÇÊÓƵ store in an outlet setting, which means shoppers will be able to get their hands on clothing at marked-down prices.

Rachel Scott, asset manager at Global Mutual, which manages Affinity Staffordshire, said: "Welcoming a big name like H&M is the perfect way to kickstart 2022. We know that our loyal shoppers from across the region will welcome the new store with open arms and we can't wait to see the doors open.

"It really is a pivotal new letting for us and we are thrilled that H&M selected Affinity Staffordshire as the ideal location for its exciting outlet venture – picking Staffordshire for this º£½ÇÊÓƵ first."

H&M will join a host of big-name brands at Affinity Staffordshire including Nike, Next and Sports Direct as well as ProCook and Terraces.

The retailer - which has more than 240 stores across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and Ireland - says its new Staffordshire store will offer a garment collection and recycling service which allows customers to donate any unwanted clothing and textiles, by any brand, while shopping in-store.
