Two new fishcake flavours have been launched by The Saucy Fish Co as it builds on retail success with The Food Warehouse by Iceland.

The brand, owned by Grimsby’s Seachill, has brought forward Salmon Fishcakes with a Cracking Lemon Centre and Cod Fishcakes with a Smashing Cheddar and Parsley Centre.

Together with the smoked haddock line they are also being made available in a family-friendly four pack for the first time ever.

Amanda Webb, sales and marketing director at The Saucy Fish Co, said: “After roaring success with previous activity at The Food Warehouse by Iceland, Saucy is excited to return with not only new flavours but a new four-pack product that we expect to fly off the shelves of the frozen aisle.

“We’ve always been a convenient yet delicious option for dinner, so we are very excited to launch new four-pack products that can bring the family together at mealtimes. From freezer to fork in less than 30 minutes, the new fishcakes options mean midweek mealtimes are never a problem.”

A marketing campaign to support the listing at The Food Warehouse stores is now underway.

All products in the range are made in Grimsby, where Seachill is based. Nearly 1,400 are employed, with 750 involved in Saucy processing.
