A bathroom supplier which has built a network of more than 90 branches in less than a decade has made its first move into East Yorkshire.

Easy Bathrooms has ambitions to become the º£½ÇÊÓƵ market leader, having launched in Leeds in 2012.

It has now launched at The Trade Yard Willerby, the former Bonus superstore site that has become part of a series of developments by Hull-based Allenby Commercial in recent years to support the construction and DIY sector.

It joins Screwfix and the recently-opened Toolstation beside Willerby Shopping Park.

Tomas Sereika, manager, leads a full-time team of four, with £100,000 spent on the fit-out.

Neil Bell, head of retail for Easy Bathrooms, said: “We are expanding our stores with the intention of creating a network of showrooms where people can see, touch and try our products before making a purchase – alongside increasing online sales.

“During a period when there’s plenty of doom and gloom surrounding the º£½ÇÊÓƵ high street, we are proud to expand and open bricks and mortar stores, alongside growing our online presence.”
