The Kingsway Retail Park totem sign would also be amended to reflect the Homesense brand.

The future of TK Maxx鈥檚 Kingsway unit has been subject to speculation ever since the retailer opened another Derby store in Albion Street, in the city centre, in February last year.

At the time, TK Maxx said it would be retaining its Kingsway store - but in August, the owner of the retail park, St James鈥檚 Place Property Unity Trust, applied to the city council to turn the TX Maxx unit into three smaller shops.

Permission was granted last autumn but the work has not been carried out.
