There's an open event at a Georgian manor house in Eardington, but only for buyers with seven figures to spend

Take a look round a Grade II* listed Georgian house in Eardington, near Bridgnorth, at an open event on Saturday.

Eardington Manor, which is in School Lane, 11am to 12pm. However, they should have £1,325,000 ready if they would like to put in a bid.

The exquisite country house is set in the heart of the village of Eardington, about a mile and a half away from Bridgnorth.

It is in grounds of around four and half acres, which includes a kitchen garden and a paddock.

It actually offers more than one residence as it comes with a two-bedroom coach house.

Built along classical Georgian lines, the Manor has a grand feel to it with decorative ceilings and cornices, architraves, sash windows and shutters. It also has an orangery to the dining room. The entrance hall is oak floored with an impressive staircase.

The drawing room and orangery feature an open fire, shutters and patio doors onto a terrace. There is a morning room with shutters, bay window with doors and open fireplace. A formal dining room has an open fireplace, shutters and display cabinets.

In the kitchen there is a two-oven oil fired AGA, cherry wood fitted kitchen units with island and a walk-in pantry with units.
