º£½ÇÊÓƵ jewellery brand Daniella Draper is returning to Leeds after securing a permanent presence in the city.

The Cleethorpes-founded business, now based in neighbouring Grimsby, had a pre-pandemic pop-up outlet in West Yorkshire. And having made a London pop-up permanent in the intervening period, it is doing the same up north.

The Victoria Quarter store will become the brand’s seventh outlet when it opens this autumn, creating a handful of jobs.

“I am thrilled to announce the return of Daniella Draper Jewellery to Leeds,” said Daniella Draper, the founder and creative force behind the brand. “The warm reception we received during our pop-up store left a lasting impression, and I cannot wait to reconnect with the vibrant Leeds community through our permanent store”.

Described as having a distinctive blend of modern luxury and British heritage, Daniella Draper has been trading for almost 15 years, winning major awards and high profile endorsements from A-list celebrities.

It originally opened in Leeds in the run up to Christmas 2019, securing a lease extension as it looked to seal a longer lease option in early 2020 ahead of coronavirus leading to a shutdown for all but essential retailers.

Daniella launched from her seaside resort home when she returned to her Lincolnshire roots from Central St Martin’s in 2009, having studied jewellery design in the capital. The family business went on to open boutique stores in Lincoln, Beverley, Grimsby, London and Windermere - having initially settled on Bowness in the Lake District when she married her Cumbrian fiance - while a post-lockdown venture in Knutsford, Cheshire, was closed.
