Covid Passes will now be needed to enter cinemas, theatres and concert halls in Wales from today.

The extension of the pass was approved by members of the Senedd in a vote on November 9 with Labour and Plaid supporting the measures and the Conservatives and Lib Dems opposed.

People already have to show a Covid Pass - showing they're fully vaccinated, had a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours or recently had the virus - to enter nightclubs and attend large events in Wales.

Case rates are high in Wales (478 per 100K) although have come down from over 700 in recent weeks.

Businesses have warned about the economic impact of the passes but supporters say it could help keep businesses open over the winter period.

The guidance on self-isolation has also been changed and people are being encouraged to work from home to help bring the virus under control.

Mark Drakeford has warned the passes could be extended to hospitality.
