Multi-charity clothing store Charity Super.Mkt has extended its run at Bristol's Cabot Circus by a month.

Located in the old Hollister store, which closed down earlier this year, the store will be open for an extra month until September 24, due to high customer demand.

Since , on July 20, the pop-up has sold over 5,000 items, with almost 500 being sold on opening night. The Bristol store hosts a revolving charity line-up refresh, including a mix of newly sourced clothing and accessories. The space also hosts local DJs on weekends, gift card voucher giveaways and accepts pre-loved donations in-store.

Founders Wayne Hemingway and Maria Chenoweth chose Bristol for their latest showcase due to its green credentials as the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's third greenest city, a former European Green Capital and the º£½ÇÊÓƵ's first 'cycling city'.

Mr Hemingway said: "One of the reasons we selected Cabot Circus for Charity Super.Mkt is that we knew Bristol embodied the concept of ‘circular economy’ and would understand our unique business model. Charity Super.Mkt is miles ahead when it comes to delivering purposeful retail and has so far been a huge success, meaning that the charities involved are raising thousands for good causes, and more and more customers realise the importance of sustainable shopping. This is just the start of our relationship with this great city!"

To provide more fundraising opportunities for local and national and charities, Charity Super.Mkt has introduced five new charities this month: Shelter, Bath Cats & Dogs, GWAA, Weston Hospicecare and Havens Hospices.

The department store for second-hand style said that is "on course" to raise over £1m for charity, having already reached £627,000 alone at Hammerson’s retail and leisure destinations, Brent Cross (London) and The Oracle (Reading).
