A used car dealer is opening a massive new store in Bristol this weekend, creating 65 jobs.

The £14million CarShop branch opens on Saturday (November 30) on a seven-acre site on Bolingbroke Way in Little Stoke.

The outlet is the 10th º£½ÇÊÓƵ store for the chain, which already has branches in Swindon in the South West and Cardiff in Wales.

The branch will have more than 600 cars and a drive-in service centre. There will also be tens of jobs created including roles in sales, service, technical, admin and management.

Jonathan Dunkley, chief executive officer at CarShop said: “We are delighted to announce a new store in Bristol, and proud to be generating exciting new career opportunities to residents of the city and surrounding areas.

“Car buyers in and around Bristol will now have better access to our convenient, friendly and guided buying experience and more than 9,000 cars across the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.”

The new branch will be involved in the local community and with charities in Bristol and the wider º£½ÇÊÓƵ, according to Carl Jackson, head of business at CarShop Bristol.

One pound from every car sold will be donated to CarShop’s national charity Global’s Make Some Noise or the store’s nominated local charity, Young Bristol.
