Cardiff coffee chain Milk & Sugar to open new eco retail store

The new store from the Independent cafe operator is the latest development on Pontcanna Street in the capital city

Milk & Sugar is opening an eco store on Pontcanna Street

Milk& Sugar is to open a eco retail store in the Cardiff suburb of Pontcanna.

This is the latest development on Pontcanna Street. Earlier this year Tom Simmons announced he was to open a bakery a few doors down from his restaurant Tom by Thomas Simmons.

There is also a planning application submitted to turn No. 73 into a yoga studio and cafe. The unit, formerly Chameleon Interior Design, will, if planning is approved, become the Love Live Light Healing Hub.

Milk & Sugar, owned by the Tim Corrigan, have said the new store will sell eco friendly home, chemical free body care, kitchen essentials, as well as coffee.

Customers will also be able to buy made to order salads, juices and smoothies to takeaway or collect, for people working from home, working nearby, or wandering around the nearby parks.

for the coffee chain said there will be cakes and treats too, with plant-based macrons from Thibault Courtoisier, one of the winners of the Great British bake off professionals 2020.

The store is expected to open this month.
