Milk& Sugar is to open a eco retail store in the Cardiff suburb of Pontcanna.
This is the latest development on Pontcanna Street. Earlier this year Tom Simmons announced he was to open a bakery a few doors down from his restaurant Tom by Thomas Simmons.
There is also a planning application submitted to turn No. 73 into a yoga studio and cafe. The unit, formerly Chameleon Interior Design, will, if planning is approved, become the Love Live Light Healing Hub.
Milk & Sugar, owned by the Tim Corrigan, have said the new store will sell eco friendly home, chemical free body care, kitchen essentials, as well as coffee.
Customers will also be able to buy made to order salads, juices and smoothies to takeaway or collect, for people working from home, working nearby, or wandering around the nearby parks.
for the coffee chain said there will be cakes and treats too, with plant-based macrons from Thibault Courtoisier, one of the winners of the Great British bake off professionals 2020.

The store is expected to open this month.

On a blog post on the , Mel & Liv, the managers at the store, say the priority at Pontcanna is "well sourced products that are in tune with the body, and create a well-balanced state within, so we can be at our optimal health".
In October Milk & Sugar expanded with a new outlet at Eastern Business Park in Cardiff.
The business is expanding despite the challenges of the pandemic by adding to its existing Milk & Sugar venue on the ground floor of the 1 Central Square office scheme in the centre of the city.
Owners of the business park, Robert Hitchins, has invested significantly refurbishing the restaurant area which extends to more than 5,000 sq ft and includes an al fresco dining terrace.
The Eastern Business Park campus, which extends to 170,000 sq ft across three buildings, is home to tenants including the Independent Office for Police Conduct, Bellway Homes, Taylor Wimpey and architects Powell Dobson.
