Campsites and all hotels can reopen in Wales from this weekend with cinemas, museums and beauty salons also able to trade again from Monday.

First Minister Mark Drakeford announced today that Wales's coronavirus restrictions continue to be relaxed,.

Tourist accommodation with shared facilities, such as camping sites and all hotels will be able to re-open from Saturday (25 July) as will underground attractions, marking the full re-opening of Wales’ visitor attractions.

From Monday (July 27) beauty salons, nail parlours, tattoo shops, cinemas, amusement arcades, museums and galleries can open their doors and the housing market can fully reopen.

Mr Drakeford had been under pressure to bring forward the reopening of the indoor hospitality sector to support under pressure restaurants, pubs and cafes.

They are due to reopen on August 3 - although outdoor hospitality is currently allowed.

New rules making it compulsory to wear a face covering on public transport, including taxis, will also come into effect on Monday.

Unlike in England wearing a face mask will not be compulsory in shops.
