A Bristol-based period product company has achieved B Corporation with a score of 146.5.
Sustainable brand Grace & Green is now the highest scoring B Corp in organic-certified period care and is ranked in the top 10% of B Corps globally
Managed by B Lab, the internationally recognised certification process measures a company’s entire impact across five key areas of Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. It also verifies socially and environmentally responsible practice from energy, water and waste to diversity, transparency and staff support policies.

Fran Lucraft, founder at Grace & Green, said: “After spending over a decade in the water and sanitation sector and having witnessed first-hand how conventional period products impact our water systems and oceans, I knew that I had to do something to help solve this problem."
Grace & Green have the highest rating of any disposable period brand for positive environmental impact, with their products being created from 100% organic-certified cotton and bamboo that is biodegradable and free from any synthetic chemicals.
Ms Lucraft added: “We believe that access to safe and sustainable period products is a basic right and it’s why ethics and equal access are at the heart of all we do."
Grace & Green is now part of a community of 7,000 businesses globally who have certified as B Corps, joining a growing group of companies reinventing business by pursuing purpose as well as profit.
