Bristol Airport has opened a new executive lounge as part of its multi-million-pound terminal transformation project.
Located on the first floor of the departure lounge, the new facility - dubbed the Escape Lounge - has 140 seats and features floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking the Eastern apron.
The space has zones for "dining, working and relaxing", according to the airport, which said the lounge had been designed to "reflect the charm of the South West". It also has quiet areas for business travellers.
Kate Gwyther, head of retail at Bristol Airport, said: “We’re delighted to officially open our new Escape Lounge. This is more than double the size of the previous lounge and provides an enhanced experience for passengers, whether they are travelling for business or leisure.
"It’s an exciting step in our ongoing commitment to transform the airport experience for our customers.”
The lounge's dining area serves a range of hot and cold food throughout the day - from breakfast to light suppers, as well as a variety of different West Country alcoholic drinks. There are also self-serve islands with a selection of teas, coffees, cold drinks, and freshly prepared dishes.

Passengers can access the new Escape Lounge via the walkway next to the Cabin bar. It is available for all passengers and visitors can pre-book, pay on entry or gain access via their airline ticket.
