Online fashion giant Boohoo has has published a 1,100-strong list of its international suppliers as part of a drive to be more transparent in the wake of an independent review led by a QC.

The Manchester-headquartered listed company has said the move meets its transparency pledge to publish it within 12 months of the Independent Review produced by Alison Levitt QC.

The international factory list details around 1,100 factories following an "extensive period" of mapping and auditing which initially began in 2020.

The move comes after the business published the names of its 78 º£½ÇÊÓƵ suppliers in March this year.

The names were released six months after Boohoo accepted all the recommendations of a probe led by senior lawyer Allison Levitt.

That review found major failings in its supply chain in England in the wake of allegations in the Sunday Times about working conditions and low pay.

In March, Boohoo said it intended to publish its global supplier list by September 25.
