A derelict chapel in the centre of Conwy has been transformed into a boutique guesthouse by a bistro pub chain.
The former Baptist chapel on Church Street has been empty since the 1970s and had fallen into a poor condition.
But Stange & Co - who revamped and re-opened the Erskine Arms - put forward a plan to redevelop the building, which is situated opposite the bistro pub.

They secured a 拢550,000 funding package from NatWest to renovate the Grade II Listed site into a luxury 11 bedroom guesthouse with communal facilities - named The Chapel/Y Capel.
It has created five new jobs.
Stange & Co runs nine other pubs across North Wales and the Wirral.
It has owned the listed chapel for over 30 years but decided to turn it into a guesthouse following the success of The Erskine Arms, which they reopened in 2017 after an extensive rennovation of the former Malt Loaf pub.
They now employ 40 people at the Erskine, which has also got 10 bedrooms.

Dan McLennan, managing director of Stange & Co, said: 鈥淣orth Wales is going through a bit of a renaissance at the moment. Conwy in particular has become a hub for tourists and foodies, as well as those who want to explore Snowdonia.
鈥淲e鈥檝e owned The Chapel for a number of years and after seeing the amazing growth at The Erskine Arms, it made perfect sense for us to transform the site into a luxury guesthouse.
鈥淲ith the support from NatWest, we were able to open just before Christmas.鈥

Ruth Kirby, NatWest senior relationship manager, said: 鈥淪tange & Co is a family-run business that鈥檚 shown it鈥檚 capable of continued growth.
鈥淭he owners are able to spot gaps in the market and act on them, so I鈥檓 sure The Chapel will be another huge success for their portfolio. Good luck to all the team.鈥
