Bishops Frome house has a vista that is worth coming back for

The outlook is as nice as the interior in The Hanburies, a handsome hillside home in Bishops Frome, reports Alison Jones

This listed Georgian gem in some transformations over the years.

It has been refurbished with new wiring and plumbing and has also been added onto.

A large coach house and a Victorian style conservatory were actually built as recently as the mid-90s.

What has remained consistent over the centuries are the far reaching views that its elevated position affords it.

Known as The Hanburies, the house sits on south westerly slopes of Fromes Hill in Bishops Frome near Herefordshire.

It has many original features inside including shuttered sash windows and high ceilings.

A wellingtonia-lined drive leads up to the front door. Inside there is a lobby with a study off.

The main hall has a side entrance with fanlight above.
