Bath Racecourse has signed a partnership deal with sports bar Ludo for an undisclosed sum. The agreement will see the food and drink venue, next to Bath train station, become the official partner for Bath Racecourse.
Ludo, which has more than 30 screens and two rooftop terraces, is also the official sports bar of Bath Rugby. As part of the deal, Ludo said all Bath Racecourse members would receive 20% off food and drinks throughout the year, while racegoers would be given 20% off on race days.
Ed Martin, chief executive of Regional Taverns 鈥 the operator of Ludo Sports Bar and Kitchen 鈥 said the deal supported the company's ambitions to become the "place to watch and enjoy sport in Bath and the South West".
"We very much look forward to working closely with the team at Bath Racecourse, and to welcoming their members and racegoers to our beautiful venue," he said. "Racing is such a sociable sport, that we very much want those who鈥檝e enjoyed a great day at the races to come and celebrate here with us; really making a day, and night, of it."

Simon Tonge, executive director of Bath Racecourse, added: 鈥淲e very much recognise that racegoers鈥 experiences don鈥檛 finish when they leave the racecourse and it鈥檚 great that we have a partnership in place whereby our racegoers can further their enjoyment at the city centre venue on race days and beyond."
He added: "We want the sports fans of Bath to be proud of having a thriving racecourse within the city and believe this partnership perfectly aligns the commitment to good experiences and high quality hospitality that we both share.鈥
