Safety equipment supplier Arco has found a new home for its Hull store, as it prepares to say goodbye to its Waverley Street offices.

Arco, which is also relocating its headquarters to Hull’s Fruit Market area, will open its new trade shop near Hessle Road next week.

The new store, at Hull’s Link 63 industrial park, will stock more than 2,000 of Arco’s safety products, and is close to businesses including Screwfix, Toolstation, Asda and Lidl.

Paul Frewin, head of retail at Arco, said: “The new Hull store will offer customers the best possible selection of products and services with our own in store experts available to offer advice and training.

“We are confident that local tradesmen will enjoy the new location within the busy industrial estate, due to the improved accessibility and convenience to neighbouring stores.”

Visitors to the new store, opening on January 13, can also brand workwear in-store, call in to pick up essential safety items, try on workwear and safety footwear for comfort and fit.

Experts from Arco will be on-hand to provide expert advice on safety, and recommend professional safety services including consultancy, training, services and products for working at height, confined spaces and respiratory management.

Customers will also be able to catch-up with emails and paperwork in a break out area, with free access to Wi-Fi and hot drinks.
