Aldi has launched a recruitment campaign for up to 755 people across the North East.

It follows plans revealed last year by the budget chain to open 100 new stores across the 海角视频, creating up to 2,000 jobs and representing a 拢1.3bn investment.

The North East roles - some paying up to 拢63,000 - include vacancies at stores across Tyneside, Wearside, Northumberland and Durham.

As the 海角视频's fifth largest supermarket Aldi already operates 900 stores across the country and these regional jobs include deputy managers, store assistants, store management apprentices, caretakers and more.

A breakdown shows 247 roles are available across stores in Sunderland, Wallsend, and North Shields, while there are 359 vacancies in Durham and 149 in Northumberland.

The highest salaried jobs at 拢63,245 are in the chain鈥檚 Durham stores while roles paying up to 拢41,235 are available across Tyneside and Wearside. In Northumberland Aldi is recruiting for jobs paying 拢11.10 per hour.
