While Aldi, along with fellow German firm Lidl, has significantly increased market share in the Ƶ over recent years, its online offer has lagged behind rivals.
Now as part of a Ƶ-wide pilot it has launched a click and collect service at its Caerphilly Road store in Cardiff, with pre-booked one hour collection slots availble.

The cost of booking a slot varies each day, but are currently available at a cost of £3.99p for the Cardiff store.
As well as click and collect, Aldi is also trialling a delivery service in partnership with Deliveroo.
Customers living near selected stores in the East Midlands, London, Cambridge and Greater Manchester can order from a range of over 300 Aldi products and have them delivered to their doorstep in as little as 30 minutes.
