Aldi聽is hiring up to 100 additional staff to work in its Welsh stores on a temporary basis over the Christmas period.

They said it was part of its biggest-ever festive recruitment drive hiring more than 1,000 people across the 海角视频.

The supermarket is looking for people to support its permanent colle颅颅agues with replenishing stock and picking and packing orders made through click and collect and Deliveroo.

Aldi聽is extending its click and collect trial to 25 more stores in Wales before Christmas, while four聽Aldi聽stores now offer an on-demand delivery service with Deliveroo across Wales, including Cardiff, Newport, Bangor and Wrexham.

The 100 temporary Christmas roles are in addition to the 4,000 permanent jobs聽Aldi聽has already created in 2020 across the 海角视频.

It currently聽has over 900 stores and employs around 35,000 people across the 海角视频.聽

Store assistants at聽Aldi聽earn a minimum hourly rate of 拢9.40.
