A £2.4 million renovation of a regional Land Rover dealership has completed.

Farnell at Bradford now features an 11-bay technician workshop, MoT bay, display space for 50 approved-used cars, additional customer parking spaces, barista bar, a fully air-conditioned showroom and a dedicated handover area.

Additional electric charging points have also been installed at the Canal Road site to accommodate recently released electric and plug-in hybrid models, including the Range Rover Evoque PHEV.

There is also a new senior team to drive business forward.

John Steele, a motor retail professional with more than 25 years’ experience, joins as head of business, having joined Vertu Motors Plc in the role at Gordon Lamb Chesterfield Land Rover. He will now cover both.

Simon Davis has been appointed as brand manager.  He joined the company five years ago as general sales manager at Farnell Land Rover Nelson.  In 2017 he was named sales manager of the year and has since progressed to his current position at Farnell Land Rover Bradford.

Mr Steele said: “I am pleased that we can now showcase the new Farnell Land Rover Bradford.

“This was a significant investment for the group and has demonstrated confidence in Bradford and it’s economy. Farnell Land Rover Bradford is home to some superb luxury cars, and I know our customers will be thrilled with the equally prestigious site.”
