PrettyLittleThing co-founder's property group unveils £50m homes plans

Kamani Property Group has partnered with Capital&Centric

Ancoats Works, Manchester

A consultation has been launched by the property group run by the co-founder of PrettyLittleThing for a £50m development in Manchester which would feature almost 200 homes.

Kamani Property Group has partnered with Capital&Centric on the Ancoats Works project.

If backed by Manchester City Council in the coming months, the scheme would feature a mix of 193 apartments and town houses as well as a new café bar or store.

The site in Pollard Street had previously been used as a storage depot.

Kamani Property Group is run by chief executive Adam Kamani who helped establish PrettyLittleThing and is the son of Boohoo co-founder Mahmud Kamani.

Adam Kamani said: "This is a really exciting development which will bring back to life an old and unloved site and create a new and vibrant community.

"We have a great opportunity to create a place people really want to live, the plan is to enhance green space with the restoration of the canalside and inclusion of a lush residents’ garden.
