More than 100 jobs available with big Leicestershire employers including Everards, Arriva and Co-op

Everards Meadows

More than 100 jobs will be offered at a jobs fair being hosted by Leicestershire’s Everards Brewery next week.

The Blaby District Council event is taking place at the brewery’s Everards Meadows base, near Junction 21 of the M1, just south of Leicester.

Various employers will be showcasing their vacancies, and jobseekers of all ages will be able to speak to company representatives, find out more information and get expert help. School and college leavers are being invited to attend to find out about trainee positions and apprenticeships.

Companies in attendance will include Central England Co-op, which has more than 60 vacancies across the Leicestershire area, ranging from customer service workers to team leaders. There are also opportunities within the logistics, warehouses, and funeral areas of the business.

Everards will be looking for team members including kitchen staff, and is also offering apprenticeship opportunities, while bus company Arriva Midlands has 35 job opportunities across Leicestershire.

Blaby-based dancewear company Freed of London have several trainee and experienced manufacturing vacancies while Hunny Nursery has jobs and apprenticeships available.

There will also be care jobs available with Shared Lives Services and Inspired to Care, while supply chain specialists Blekmann Ltd has a number of roles in its warehouse.

Representatives of Leicester College will also be available to advise on training and apprenticeship opportunities.
