Vicky Thomas has been appointed head of residential conveyancing at the Stratford-upon-Avon office of CBTC Rawstorne.
Ms Thomas joined a Birmingham law firm 33 years ago straight from school as the office junior.
She progressed up the ladder, moving into the residential conveyancing department in 1990 where she advanced from secretary to one of the partners into a fee earning role in her own right in 1992.

Her experience and reputation within the firm earned her promotion to associate in 2008.
She brings extensive experience of residential conveyancing, dealing with every type of transaction from sales and purchases of both freehold and leasehold properties, new build plot property purchases through to transfers of equity and re-mortgages.
Ms Thomas said: “I really enjoy helping clients purchase or sell their homes, particularly the infectious excitement of first time buyers taking their first steps on to the property ladder and moving into to a place they really can call ‘home’.
“At CBTC we aim to take the stress out of moving house by making every effort to communicate with my clients in a language they can understand so as to ensure the process of moving is as straightforward as possible.
“And I see it as very much part of my job to liaise with other solicitors, estate agents and other professionals involved in the property transaction to ensure as smooth a process as we can achieve.”
