The University of Law will launch a Business School in Leeds this September.
The private university will open the the University of Law Business School (ULBS), offering a range of BSc undergraduate programmes it says will focus producing "work-ready" graduates to businesses.
Matthew Tomlinson, dean for Leeds, Sheffield and Newcastle at the University of Law, said: 鈥淚 am delighted to be launching the University of Law Business School in Leeds, where the number of students studying an undergraduate degree with ULaw has more than doubled since 2018.

鈥淭he launch of our business school in Leeds will build on its success across our Manchester, Birmingham, London and Nottingham campuses, as well as overseas at our campuses in Berlin and Hong Kong.鈥
ULBS will offer programmes covering business management, entrepreneurship, accounting and finance, and international strategy, as well as a combined BSc Business with Law degree taught across the university鈥檚 business and law schools, and master鈥檚 degrees covering project management and business analytics.
Mr Tomlinson added: 鈥淲e want to connect businesses across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire region with the very best new talent from all corners of the globe studying in Leeds through our business school.
鈥淭o do this, we help our students establish and develop close working relationships with employers through access to placement years where they gain hands on experience working in business. It is then - with the support of both our ULaw academics and employers from across the region 鈥 that our students develop the real-world experience and leadership skills they need to take the first step to a successful career in industry.
鈥淚n addition to this, all our master鈥檚 business courses include our Professional Development: Employability and Leadership module, where our students develop skills and expertise that they can put into practice immediately, culminating in the preparation of a personal career plan and receive one to one coaching."

We鈥檒l be actively engaging with businesses in and around Leeds through networking events, careers fayres, employer events and employer talks, and our Leeds business school will also facilitate face to face relationship building between local businesses and our wider 海角视频 and international business school and our expert academics.
