A trio of female business owners have started up a workshop aimed at other women to empower them and give them confidence.
The main aim is to change the way small business owners see and market their businesses, to make them think about how they present themselves and their offer and give them all the confidence and tools they need to take a significant step forward.
Katie Whitehouse, Lucy Matthews and Penny Little are all mums, partners and business owners, and know how it is for most women who are juggling life with working for themselves.
All experts in social media, PR and marketing, the three friends from Totnes put their heads together to create Three Wise Women.
They launched their workshops on International Women’s Day 2019 and now plan to roll the workshops out throughout the 海角视频.
And whilst the workshops are tailored with women in mind, male entrepreneurs are able to book in too.
So far the Three Wise Women have worked with small businesses from hair salons, photographers, video producers, musicians and more.
Katie Whitehouse, who runs From The Whitehouse and is a highly successful music manager as well as a pioneer in the fields of massage and social media, said: “Our workshops are designed to be highly interactive and for just 12 people to ensure that everyone has adequate time working in small groups and with each of us, with the aim of really getting the delegates to look at their business with new eyes, learn how to communicate their stories effectively, and get the right people talking about them.”

The workshop guides the business owners on important PR topics such as writing an eye-catching press release to discovering what their unique or quirky selling points are.
Owner of PR agency Marvellous PR and author of the Amazon #1 best seller A Marvellous Reputation, Lucy Matthews has been in PR for over 35 years and works with a lot of entrepreneurs and start ups.
She said: “Our aim is for our delegates to leave with new skills, enlightened, empowered, tooled up, and full of confidence to go out and put themselves on the map.”

Lucy, 58, who keeps herself busy with her own business and various hobbies such as taking part in a drama club, added: "We've all found that the people we want to work with who are the smaller businesses find people like PRs and marketing consultants a bit scary and think 'I can't afford this' - that's what I hear all the time - 'I can't speak to a PR' - so that's why this [the workshop] is a brilliant thing for them.
Penny Little, founder of Sixty Minute Marketing, is an experienced creative marketing and PR troubleshooter. She added:“Bringing our combined expertise together offers delegates a unique view of their business issues and shows them ways to implement positive change immediately.
