A engineering consultancy and surveying firm, which has seen 25 per cent year-on-year growth, has bought out a rival.
Smithers Purslow, which is based in Glaston, in Rutland, has acquired its northern and Wales-based counterpart Byrom Clark Roberts.
The move has increased staff numbers within the business to more than 100, based at 10 locations across the 海角视频.
Some 43 staff employees based at its head office in Glaston Hall, will now work alongside colleagues in Chester, Exeter, Leeds, Llandudno, London, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Reading.
The buy-out, completed at the end of October, follows a period of strong growth for Smithers Purslow.
Management said that in five years, turnover has grown by 25 per year – from £1.7 million in 2014 to £5.1 million today.
The firm’s directors are confident this acquisition will propel turnover to £8 million in the next two years.
Smithers Purslow’s core business is handling complex insurance claims and solving challenging construction and property issues and legal disputes. It also offers architectural and planning services.

The business dates back to 1978, and has public and private sector clients in the insurance, property and construction industries.
It also works with estate and property owners and managers, large corporations, developers and high-net worth individuals.
In 2016, it gained platinum Investors in People status and, at the time, was one of only 16 businesses to achieve this accolade worldwide.
The firm recently secured the same platinum status again.
Byrom Clark Roberts works outside the insurance sector offering similar services, including expert witness support and architectural consultancy.
Founded in 1925, it has grown as a result of mergers with Frederick Hill, the Moxham Clark Partnership, Alex Roberts Associates and SIX Architecture.
Its multi-disciplinary practices specialise in architecture, building surveying, civil and structural engineering and expert witness consultancy.
