A national communications agency has opened its latest office in Birmingham.

MPC, which is headquartered in Bristol, specialises in political and community engagement in the property sector and has opened its sixth office in Colmore Row.

It said the move to launch its first Midlands base was as a result of a period of growth on the back of several new client wins.

Founded in 2006, MPC supports clients with political and community engagement strategies in the house-building, mixed-use, commercial, energy and retail sectors.

Its new office in the heart of Birmingham's business joins its other operations in Reading, London, Chelmsford and Stamford near Peterborough.

Chief executive Anna Sabine said: "Launching our new office in the heart of Birmingham has been the culmination of excellent work carried out by the team in delivering successful results for clients while also recognising the wealth of opportunities on offer throughout the West Midlands.

"We look forward to working with new and existing clients across a variety of sectors as the region continues to prosper further in the face of a turbulent political and economic climate."
