Nelsons has promoted two employees from its Derby residential conveyancing and dispute resolution departments to partner and associate respectively.
Trevor Scott and Oliver Maxwell have collectively worked at Nelsons, in Lodge Lane, for almost a decade.

Partner and licensed conveyancer Trevor joined Nelsons in 2013 and has been practising land law and advising on residential conveyancing matters since 2002.
He said: "I wanted to join a strong firm and one where I could continue to develop professionally and advance my career, so Nelsons seemed like the perfect option for me.
"I am very proud to have been promoted to partner – the open, transparent and team working culture has provided me with the professional development I was seeking.

Associate and solicitor Oliver qualified in 2014 and joined Nelsons in 2017. Oliver specialises in advising on a wide range of commercial disputes with an emphasis on property litigation.
He said: "My first experience of Nelsons was a work experience placement while I was completing my LLM at Birmingham Law School.
"What impressed me during my placement was the palpable buzz of the place – everyone had a real can-do attitude, which very much fuelled my desire to return.
