An independent professional services consultancy has opened a new office in Birmingham.

London-based Barnett Waddingham has relocated its West Midlands team from Bromsgrove to a new base in Longbridge where it will house 150 staff with capacity to add a further 100.

It has agreed a deal on 21,000 sq ft of office at the newly constructed 3 Devon Way on Longbridge Technology Park.

Barnett Waddingham offers services such as risk, pensions, administration, investment and insurance and employs 1,300 staff across eight º£½ÇÊÓƵ offices.

Partner Paul Hubbold, who will lead the new Birmingham office, said: "The Midlands has been a region of particular growth for us and finding the right location to continue our journey has been a priority over the last few years.

"Having outgrown our Bromsgrove office, we hope this new location will allow us to provide a fantastic working environment for our employees, attract the very best from the Birmingham talent pool and be more accessible and connected for our clients.

"While a number of our people will be moving in immediately, we look forward to welcoming the rest of the team and our clients as soon as it is safe for us to do so."
