Newcastle law firm Muckle LLP has appointed Scott Cable to its growing real estate dispute resolution team.
Mr Cable, who has 15 years of experience in property disputes and joins Muckle as partner, will be working alongside partner and head of real estate dispute resolution Charlotte McMurchie, senior associate Jennifer Pearson, associate Sarah Barratt and solicitors Charlotte Dickinson and Matthew Brady.

Medical and safety technology firm Draeger Safety 海角视频 has appointed David Head as head of safety marketing.
Mr Head, whose career in the sector spans 16 years, has worked with Dräger for eight years and was previously a senior marketing manager at the firm. The new role will see him lead 海角视频 marketing for the company’s range of technology and equipment, which includes portable breathing apparatus, gas detection systems and drug and alcohol testing and PPE equipment (PPE). It will also see him join the company’s commercial leadership team.

Artech Lighting has welcomed Daniel Renforth as its new regional sales manager.
Mr Renforth joins the firm’s Durham City head office with 11 years’ experience in the lighting industry, having worked in East Anglia, Yorkshire and nationally. Mr Renforth is returning to his roots for the role, having been born and bred in Gosforth and attending Northumbria University before work commitments saw him move to Manchester in 2016.

Amy Orange has joined the family team at Richard Reed Solicitors after gaining a first-class law degree at the University of Sunderland and then further studying on the legal practice course and qualifying for a masters degree.
After gaining four years’ experience as a paralegal for a Newcastle law firm, she has returned to Sunderland. Her post as a newly-qualified solicitor will see her representing parents and other family members in all family court proceedings as part of a busy department at the Frederick Street practice.
She said: “I always wanted to work in an area of law where I felt I could do the most good. With the type of work we do, you are dealing with the most vulnerable people in society on a daily basis and I get a lot from helping those who need it most. We work on very serious cases, so it’s fantastic to be working somewhere like Richard Reed where everyone is so supportive and its like being part of a family. Even though I’ve only joined quite recently, I already have been made to feel really welcome and at home by everyone.”
FW Capital has promoted Alex Gent in the firm’s North East office.
Ms Gent has been promoted to senior investment executive, following FW Capital’s ‘Career Pathway’ programme to give staff relevant experience and future progression. A qualified chartered accountant, Ms Gent has experience working with local businesses seeking growth funding and will continue to help deliver the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF) loans, to help businesses across the Tees Valley to reach their potential.
