Newcastle creative communications agency O has announced six new hires following a raft of client wins.
The appointments include Tracy Appleby as head of creative studio, to lead O’s growing creative team which includes brand development, graphic design, animation and videography.
Other new faces include account managers Rachel Hodgson, Emma Roberts and Laura Watson and account executives Thomas Pearson and Andrea Dromard.
Founder of O Communications, Kari Owers said: “We have remained focused throughout the last year on supporting our clients in the best way possible as they have had to pivot or adapt their services, or indeed face growth challenges in some sectors. We have adapted ourselves as a business so we rebranded this month with a new look and website O that represents the integrated creative services we offer now.”
Hart Doors has made two senior appointments in its sales team.
The Newcastle business has appointed David Mason as national sales and service manager, and Brian Woodcock as area sales manager for the Midlands and South West.

Business advisory firm Deloitte has announced an external partner hire, as well as two partner and three director promotions in the North East.
Nicola Wright joined as a partner in public sector audit and assurance from EY. Karen Landells has been promoted to partner in the tax and legal team and Carol Murray has been promoted to partner in risk advisory.
The three newly promoted directors are Alistair McGeorge, risk advisory, Louisa Arundale, consulting, and Graeme Brough in tax and legal.

Tilney has established a new investment management team at its growing Newcastle office.
The firm, part of wealth management and professional services group Tilney Smith & Williamson, has appointed managing partner David Smith.
His team has been joined in the firm’s office at Quayside House by investment manager Matthew Burgess, who previously worked for five years at Tilney’s Liverpool office. Angus Wilson has also joined from Brewin Dolphin as assistant investment manager.

Award winning law firm Jacksons has appointed new partner and head of corporate and commercial, Peter Robinson.
Mr Robinson, who has been at partner position since 2003, has more than 25 years’ experience working for leading corporate law firms in Newcastle and Yorkshire, and also spent some time in-house with boutique venture capitalist, Gartland Whalley & Barker Plc.
He joins the corporate team at a time of significant change to the senior management board at Jacksons, as Jane Armitage steps away from the position of managing partner and Tony Wentworth takes over the reins.
Mr Wentworth said: “We have been planning these changes for a long time and everything has fallen into place with Peter’s appointment, which will enable me to devote more of my time to the management of the firm. The timing could not be better.”
Stonebridge Homes has appointed Mark Wilson to the role of land director for the North East.
Mr Wilson joins with over 25 years’ experience of the residential market, working for both private and public sector organisations including Avant Homes, Charles Church and Home Group.
He has most recently been growing his own consultancy business, which, along with his previous positions, he said will stand him in good stead for his new role at Stonebridge Homes.
He said: “I’m pleased to have been appointed to lead the growth in this region in what I am sure are exciting times ahead.”
